  • Oh no! I won't have enough money to feed my son
  • Does this mean bread prices are going to go up
  • Hmm I'm going to raise taxes because I need a new dress
  • We want Freedom, We want equality!!
  • Give me liberty or give me death
  • Before the French revolution, there was a huge economic gap between the 2nd and 3rd estate as well as unfair taxes. King Louis was also known for taxing his people to buy himself and his family personal items.
  • We need a Constitution!
  • This is the 3rd estate protesting the king for imposing unfair taxes against them.
  • Calling of the Estates General which hasn't met in over 175 years, Then the king locks them out of their meeting room so they have to have their meeting on the tennis court.
  • Tennis court oath is sworn in and forms the National Assembly. The Tennis court oath is when the 3rd estate decided to break apart from the estates general and create their own constitution.
  • Fall of Bastille when an angry aggressive mob attacked the Bastille prison, which began the French revolution.
  • The beginning of the French revolution began with the 3rd estate going crazy with revolutionary flare, motivated by the storming of Bastille causing them to kill many citizens and put their heads on top of pikes
