Storyboard Text

  • The Tell-Tale Heart By: Edgar Allen Poe
  • "Nervous, very, very, dreadfully nervous."  I will be telling you the story that, is very humorous actually, it is about me killing my boss. But it was for a very good reason. that I will soon get to.
  • You see, when I first saw this old man I did not know that he had an eye like that. When I found out, something inside me turned on and I did not know how to turn it off.
  • I decided,  to kill the eye. It wasn't that easy though. Ever night for seven nights I went into his room, but his eye was never open, on the eighth night he finally opened his eye. I went in and suffocated him with his bed. A neighbor heard a shriek and called the police.
  • I was calm and collected. I would not let the cops find out that I killed the old man. Why, I loved that old man.
  • I started to hear the beating of what I though twas the old man's heart. I thought the police could hear the beating too, so I screamed, "Villains, dissemble no more! I admit the deed!--tear up the planks! here, here! -- It is the beating of his hideous heart.
