In the short story, a tell tale heart, this young man, who is most likely insane, tries to kill a man by the way his eye looks.
His strategy was to keep him in the room and check on him while he is sleeping, but one night he heard him come in, so he ended it there and killed him, that morning the police were called to investigate, and found nothing wrong, he began to panic but didn't show it.
The guilt comes over him and he admits to killing him and shows them where he hid the body.
man vs. self
man vs. man
Although the story ended with a climax, we can assume that the falling action is he would be taken away by the police to a court.
In the end, I think that he will go to jail and spend years there for the crime he's committed.
I think the theme of the story "The Tell Tale Heart" is you can't get away with everything, since he tried to get away with murder, but failed. I also think the conflict is man vs. self or man vs. man because he is going against himself arguing about being mad or crazy or man vs. man because he is going against the old man by trying to murder him
