Storyboard Text

  • hi, I'n your terrifyingly distorted friend here to tell you about seasons
  • as you can see from this "well made" diagram the earth is tilted towered at 23 degrees with the northern hemisphere towards the sun, making it summer for the north and winter for the south.
  • and now from this diagram the earth is tilted towered at 23 degrees with the southern hemisphere towards the sun, making it summer for the south and winter for the north. The reason for the different seasons is  that when the sunlight hits it more directly, it's hotter, which here is happening in the south.
  • winter
  • spring
  • As you can see here, the earth rotates around the sun at almost a perfect circle, or at least more perfect than any of the other planets. And unlike all of us, it is near to perfect and won't end up suffering and dying
  • fall
  • summer
  • winter
  • spring
  • In summer, you have more direct sunlight as compared to winter, where you get less direct sunlight. when you have more direct sunlight you have longer days, and shorter days means indirect sunlight
  • fall
  • summer
  • winter
  • spring
  • if the days are longer, that doesn't always mean that it'll be warmer. For example, in Alaska, it could be a longer day than at the equator, but that doesn't mean that Alaska will be warmer because of direct sunlight
  • fall
  • summer
