  • Abigail and other girls are with Tituba in the woods. Titbua is singing to the spirits as the girls are naming off the men they want. when they are doing that they are all dancing around the fire.
  • Act One
  • Rev. Hale and Abigail discussing what the girls did in the woods to put her dear cousin in a "comma".
  • "Why- common dancing is all."
  • "Abigail, what sort of dancing were you doing with her in the forest?"
  • Act Two
  • " I never keep no poppets, not since I were a girl."
  • The Cheever has come to collect Elizabeth for "hurting" Abigail with her poppets for revenge of her cheating with her husband.
  • "I have a warrant for you wife, Proctor; its for evidence of having poppets."
  • " Poppets"
  • Danforth, Mary Warren, and John Proctor all in front of the court saying that Abigail and the girls are lying to the court.
  • "It were pretense, sir" " aye, sir"
  • Act Three
  • "She never saw no spirits."
  • "Ah? And the other girls? Susanna Walcott, and the - others? They were all pretending?"
  • John Proctor, Rebecca Nurse and Martha Corey all waiting for their executions from being tried as being seen with the devil.
