Storyboard Text

  • Hamilton and burr were two rivals. Hamilton was a former secetary of treasure and burr was the vice president. They were both noticed by the country by then. So they both wanted to one up each other.
  • Jefferson wanted burr in his party and he elected him as govenor of the party. Then burr lost his federalist nominee.
  • Then he decided to run for govenor independently. Hamilton campaigned against burr, burrs character was crazy attacked by him and others.
  • So burr challenged hamilton in a duel. To restore his reputation or an affair of honor.
  • They fought at the same place hamiltons son had died. Hamilton claimed that the duel was wrong and he shot into the air. Burr had claimed that hamilton had shot at him and missed. So burr had shot him in the stomach and it hit his spine.
  • Hamilton was rushed to the hospital and he was found dead later. So burr had gotten his affair of honor.
