We need somewere to share our Passover meal tonight.
At this time, all of the Jewish people were celebrating the Passover. The Jewish people were all very happy and liked to celebrate the Passover.
This is where you can eat your meal.
Jesus and his disciples were walking to Jerusalem, but they had nowhere to eat their Passover meal, so Jesus sent Peter and John to find a man in a blue robe to see if he could help them.
Thank you all for joining me for the Passover my disciples.
Peter and John went searching in Jerusalem to find the man in a blue robe. When they fond the man in the blue robe, they explained to him that were looking for somewhere to eat tonight and if he could help them, they asked him “we need somewhere to eat tonight".
Who? Not I!
One of you will betray me tonight....
Do you think they know it is me......
Peter and John followed the man, who led them into a large room and told them this is where you can eat your Passover meal tonight.
When Jesus and his disciples came together for their Passover meal, Jesus gave out the bread and the wine, this has become what we refer to today as the last supper, as a symbol of his body and blood that he sacrificed for us. If you have received the sacrament of your First Holy Communion in the catholic church, this is how we celebrate his life.
Jesus told his disciples during the last supper that 'one of you will betray my trust.' That person who betrayed Jesus' trust was Judas, and Pontius Pilate sentenced him to being crucified on the cross.
