The New Deal
Finally, I can get a job
Rugged individualism is where someone is relying on outside assistance. Hoover didn't want people to rely only on the government.
Second Bill of Rights
I don't haft to work and I still get a house
Hoovervilles were makshift homes people lived in people they couldn't afford to pay mortgage/rent. Hoovervilles were rough. People didn't have clean water or food.
Was the New Deal a success?
The new deal was laws and programs made to help America to get out of its depression
The second bill of rights were rights that would help the unfortunate. I disagree with the rights because people aren't going to work hard if everything is just given to them.
The New was kinda a success, it was ww11 that mainly got us out of the depression. We still use some of the programs today.
