  • INTRODUCTION TO NATURAL SELECTION
  • OVERPRODUCTION OF OFFSPRING
  • VARIATION
  • The brown mouse is introduced to the white mice.
  • SELECTION
  • The brown and white mice reproduce and give birth to many little mice babies.
  • SURVIVAL
  • After reproduction, you can notice that some of the mice carried the trait of being smaller from the brown mouse.
  • THE END / OVERALL ADAPTATION
  • Years later, the brown mice slowly start dying off because of their small size and brown fur that doesn't blend in with the snow.
  • Eventually more years pass and it is noticeable that most of the brown mice have died off and the only mice left are the white ones
  • In the end only the white mouse remains, whose traits of white fur and big size kept it from being eaten.
