  • John Quincy Adams
  • Plurality is when someone has the most popular vote but not enough to win.
  • Andrew Jackson
  • The votes are in, Mr. Andrew Jackson has received the plurality of the votes. But sadly not enough to be our next president. Since no one has won over 51% of the votes we will have to take this decision to congress.
  • Favorite sons are the people who receive votes from their home state and all their political views reflection on what would benefit that state.
  • Of course he has plurality he is the most popular of the favriote sons.
  • The other favorite sons in this election were Henry Clay and John Quincy Adams.
  • Henry Clay used his advantage as Secretary to persuade the house of representatives to all vote for Adams.
  • There was a lot of suspicion about Clay persuading the house, but because there was no real evidence he was never charged.
  • Sadly his plan worked Adams became our next President.
  • Because Clay is the only real reason Adams won, he was quick to make him his Secretary Of State
  • I declare you my secretary of state!
  • At the next election, 1828, Andrew Jackson became our president.
  • FINALLY!
