Storyboard Text

  • We are Federalists! And we support Hamilton.
  • And we re the Democrat- Republicans! And we support Jefferson.
  • This is John Adams and Alexander Hamilton. They are the leaders of the Federalist party.
  • And this is Thomas Jefferson and James Madison, the leaders of the Democrat- Republican party.
  • I as a republican I think that the powers of congress's are limited and a strict reading of the constitution.
  • Well as I am a Federalist, I would love a strong federal government with no limits.
  • At the Election of 1796 John Adams won the role of president by 3 votes with a total of 71 votes while Jefferson only got 68. So Jefferson became Adams vice president. of the United States.
  • VICTORY!
  • Maybe next time.
  • As you can see, having a president and a vice president of two different parties will be hard because they will not agree and wont be able to make a single decision.
  • Only wealthier people of the higher class should play a role in our goverment.
  • No.  Ordinary people should be allowed in our government so that we have the votes of the people to.
