Storyboard Text

  • Look Charles, it is my favorite actress Clara Bow! She wears such wonderful clothes.
  • She is a flapper, Anne. They do not care about how women have been seen in the past, and act as how they want socially.
  • Later in the day
  • I want to be just like the people I see on the screen, they always seem so happy!
  • Oh my goodness, what are you wearing? That is too revealing for the public!
  • This is the new style, and I am not afraid to be who I want to be.
  • These new moving pictures are teaching you kids all the wrong ideas, sex appeal has no place in the streets.
  • Why hello Charles! You look just like Rudolph Valentino! It looks very nice.
  • Thank you Anne! I decided to model myself after him because of how much I love his film work, and it makes me feel like a part of out society.
  • Of course! Films are my favorite form of entertainment. It is so nice to be able to enjoy life finally instead of constant work.
  • That was my goal, I love to fit in with the new trends and it makes me feel free to dress this way. Would you like to see another movie this weekend? I just love to see and imagine the worlds of others.
  • You look very much like that flapper we saw in the movie earlier.
