Unknown Story

Storyboard Text

  • Theme
  • if he ever found a talking goldfish he wouldn't ask of it a single thing,. He'd just stick it on a shelf in a big glass jar and talk to him all day... About anything, the Russian said, not to be alone.
  • Setting
  • Characters
  • After the last wish, Sergei won't have a choice. He'll have to let the goldfish go. His magic goldfish. His friend.
  • You should always make the right choices, even if it means losing things you want.
  • Conflict
  • I can bring him back to the moment before
  • The setting of the story functions to create atmosphere. The description of the setting such as Short block, in one small sleepy suburb creates what seems to be a weary and sad atmosphere which compares with the bad actions that take place in the story
  • Point of View
  • Russian man Sergei is dynamic, flat, and a protagonist character. While confused why a boy wants to take his goldfish in his house, he gets angry and kills him. He has to think to himself and decide either to save this boy or save his last wish, which is to keep the goldfish as his friend.
  • Plot
  • He seems to have taken the burner off the stove and hit the boy in the head.
  • The main conflict in this situation is an internal conflict. Sergei is in a man vs self conflict due to him having to make a choice about the boy's life. He either saves Yani's life with the final wish or he kills the boy and throws him into the water.
  • The story takes place in a 3rd-person point of view. We hear lots of dialogue from a few different characters. With that said, we know we have an omniscient view of the story.
  • The climax of the story is when Sergai suddenly get very angry with the boy and suddenly striking him in the head with the burner from the stove and accidentally killing the boy. This makes it the most tense part of the story.
