Storyboard Text

  • MACBETH
  • ACT 1
  • When shall we meet again? In thunder, lightning, or in rain?
  • When the hurly-burly's done, when the battle's lost and won
  • Anon.
  • ACT 2
  • All's well. I dreamt last night of the three weird sisters: to you they have showed some truth.
  • I think not of them. Yet, when we can entreat an hour to serve, we would spend it in some words upon that business, If you would grant the time.
  • SHAKESPEARE
  • ACT 3
  • Was't not the way?
  • We have lost best half of our affair.
  • Who did strike out the light?
  • The three witches meet to discuss when they will meet again.
  • ACT 4
  • Come, high or low; Thyself and office deftly show!
  • Be bloody, bold, and resolute. Laugh to scorn the power of man, for none of woman born shall harm Macbeth.
  • Banquo has a dream about the three witches. Macbeth claims that he hasn't thought of them.
  • ACT 5
  • Despair thy charm, and let the angel whom thou still hast served tell thee, Macduff was from his mother's womb untimely ripped.
  • O treachery! Fly, good Fleance, fly, fly, fly!
  • The three murderers kill Banquo, but Fleance escapes.
  • Three apparitions visit Macbeth and tell him that no one born of a woman can harm him.
  • Macbeth fights Macduff thinking that Macduff was born from a woman, but Macduff was cut out of his mothers womb before his birth. Macbeth dies and Malcolm becomes King of Scotland.
  • I will not yield, to kiss the ground before young Malcolm's feet, and to be baited with the rabble's curse.
