Some people may share your opinions and some may not. It is important to realize that whatever views you, your friends, or your family may have are not above the views of others, and that their views are not “bad” or “wrong”. Their different views don't make them your enemy and they shouldn’t stop you from trying to understand their opinions when having a conversation.
Try to go into these conversations as an individual rather than a spokesperson. Try to keep an open mind and focus on learning, and don’t think about who’s right or wrong. Remember that everyone in the group is equal and although you shold be confidentstating
Sometimes talking doesn’t solve anything. Of course having a conversation can help you understand an issue or your peers and the different opinions, but activism is about making change, no matter how small. Doing that involves more than just talking, it also means taking action.
This would mean that you and your peers will have to come together to create something, be it a poster or a video, in order to reflect the issue you both care about. Doing this can solve much more than just discussion because it catches more attention and will help your cause be known by more people. You can hare your creation with friends, your family, your teacher, and many more, and you will most definitely be helping your cause.
