In sweatshops, people are forced to work long hours for little to no pay.
These long hours are often accompanied by unhealthy working conditions that promote disease and injury.
Sweatshops are mainly used to mass produce products for cheap, giving businesses that use this method edge in the market.

The workers can be underage, and continue to work for extremely long hours.
The leaders of countries without sweatshops, get angry because other countries produce goods for cheap, ignoring how those goods are made and they don't try to abolish the appalling working conditions.
The products are sent out, and consumers do not know where they come from and the harsh conditions they were made in.
