Hello, my name is Erika Human and I am the new PA to Taryn Rosekilly and John Rogers. I originally hail from Alrode Brewery where I have spent the last 24 years of my career with SAB.
I was there with the very first SAP implementation and thus know the importance of SAP to the business as well as to our suppliers. In 2019 I was the 3rd highest SRM user in South Africa. My motto is “FTIC”. I believe and always try to do things first time in control.
Following the correct procedure in delivering of PO son time, as per requirement and doing the follow through is very important tome as it is to the business and every supplier that we deal with. I have learnt that taking a bit of time to have regularly used items loaded on the catalogue, saves you a huge amount of time at the end.
PO’s are generated immediately after release – there is no wait for RPSS to convert PR’s to PO’s. I also feel there is a little more control as the Category Managers are involved when giving the go ahead to have items loaded or amended on the catalogue.Once you have your templates set up, it is just a case of changing a price or adding an item – SO, SO EASY.
It is just as important to GRN an invoice as soon as you receive the goods – this ensures that the costs reflect in the month where it has been budgeted and also ensures that suppliers are paid on time and that queries can be resolved much quicker.
Everything that we doing our daily “work-life” makes beer, whether it is operating a filler, or administrative work .. collectively we all make beer. PtP is the tool I use to make beer in my role. How do you make beer?
