This is Marcus. He is a senior in high school. He is the star athlete at his school. His family does not have a lot of money but he is still a grateful person.
This is Eddie. Eddie and Marcus are best friends. They are both senior and both are star athletes on the basketball court. Eddie lives in the biggest home in Queens and often tries to fit in with New York crime.
Since Marcus does not have a lot of money, Eddie thought of a way for Marcus to pay his senior dues for all of the trips. Eddie plans a stick up since he has his grandfathers old gun. When they approach the victim and pursuit the robbery, Eddies nerves triggered him to fire the gun shooting the old man they were robbing.
Marcus was arrested during half time of his basketball game at his school. The man who was shot survived and was able to identify Marcus from the yearbook and the newspaper.
The police soon arrested Eddie as well. They was no evidence but they made conclusions since he is Marcus’s sidekick.
Eddie and Marcus had to decide how to approach trials. They could not agree so they went superaste ways. Marcus pleated guilty since he was identified and he wanted to get out sooner. Eddie pleaded not guilty because they didn’t have any evidence of him. Marcus had 3 weeks until he would be placed in prison for 24 months. Him and Eddie didn’t talk much those 3 weeks but on Marcus’s last day he got up to play basketball where he found Eddie there and the “brothers” got to play 1 last time for awhile. We never found out what happened to Eddie.
