The Bennett's are all gathered around to discuss who will be the surprise guest at their dinner tonight. The room gets quite as Mr. Bennet reads the letter. Mrs. Bennet's face changes to a surprised face as she finds out who the letter is from. The girls question their father with a sense.
The two of the sisters didn't take much interest in the letter once to ever. They were bored at the thought of Mr. Collins coming for dinner, and even taking interest in the girls.
The Bennet sisters and Mr. Bennet are all surprised at their mothers reaction. They are speechless when Mrs. Bennet walks in the room acting frantic.
The girls observe Mr.Collins very closely. The audience can hear what each of the three sisters are thinking and what Mrs. Bennet is thinking as well. All judging Mr. Collins in their own sort of way.
As the three sisters still observe Mr. Collins, Mrs. Bennet is beginning to rase suspicion with Mr. Collins. Mr. Collins expresses how he will care for his cousins.
The dinner is awkwardly silent as the waiters come in and out of the kitchen with their fancy meals. Mr. Collins is smiling and seemingly happy to be there and Mr. Bennet shows confusion on where to start the conversation.
