Boston Tea Party
Signing of The Declaration of Independence
Battle of Bunker Hill
The colonist were mad at the British for the taxes they were not rightfully placed on them. The colonists soon found out there was a British ship holding all the taxed tea aboard so they threw the tea overboard. The loss was over one million dollars in todays currency.
This document held the freedom of every colonist and their rights. After it was signed it basically told the British they were no longer part of the British empire. The British did not like this and fought the colonists on being a part of the empire.
This battle was mostly fought on Breeds hill. If the colonists did not run out of ammo they may have won. This battle made people think the colonists had a chance at beating the British.
