  • "Oh no not Mitch!"
  • Flashback
  • The team is working really hard to to go to the championship game. They are going to have against one of the best teams in the league if they make it. They are definitely a good team, but they have a weak link on the team. Timmy has never really been the best player. He always strikes out and misses the ball. His team has tried to help him, but it hasn't worked. After all their practices, they finally made it to the championship game and Timmy got very nervous about how he would play
  • Climax
  • It was towards the end of the game, and Timmy was up to bat against Mitch, the best pitcher in their league. There were two outs and bases were loaded. To win the game, Timmy had to hit a home run over the fence. As Timmy approached the batter's box, his legs began to shake. 
  • Falling Action
  • "I can't believe we won!"
  • Timmy closed his eyes and thought about all the practices they had and how hard they had worked to get where they were. He thought about what his team would think if he struck out and lost the game for his whole team. After that, He opened his eyes and swung the bat at the first pitch he got.
  • Resolution
  • The pitch was as fast as a bullet. Timmy was shocked when he heard the bat make a crack when it hit the ball. As he started to run the bases, he could see the ball flying over the outfielder's heads and over the fence. Him and his whole team couldn't believe what had happened. They all sprinted out of the dug out to congratulate Timmy band to celebrate their first championship game win.
  • The coach came out of the dug out and gave Timmy the trophy they won. After that, the team went on to win many more games and championships. They then became the best team in the league and Timmy never had to worry about striking out again.
  • The whole team went out for ice cream after the game to celebrate their win. The coach was very proud of all of them, but especially Timmy. Everyone on the team get better and better, and didn't lose many more games after that. Theme Statement ~ Never give up no matter how difficult the situation may be.
