  • ON AIR
  • Good evening everyone, I am here to sadly tell you the news you have all been patiently waiting for.
  • And yes, there is indeed an asteroid headed towards the path of earth, as plainly as I can say it, we have a 33.3% chance of survival
  • ON AIR
  •  As you can see on your television, and I can’t sugar coat the result of a collision, the asteroid is almost eight miles wide at its thickest point. If it lands, it will unleash the force of more than one billion nuclear bombs.
  • But this collision is far from assured, and two months is too long for us to be holding our breaths, or acting if our lives were no longer of consequence… Thank you all and God bless America!
  • The main characters
  • Peter
  • What are we going to do?!
  • Eliza
  • Anita
  • The first cell is about the introduction of the book. The President of the United States is speaking to everyone about the asteroid, 66.66% predicted to hit the earth in two months.
  • Sick! That means that we can like skip school dudesssss!!!!
  • The second cell is about the President explaining what would happen if the asteroid were to hit Earth and how that would affect us.
  • No, you're an idiot... that means that we could die in two months.
  • Why?! I'm like way too young to die!
  • The Main Characters
  • The third cell is about three of the main characters reacting to the news that they just found out about from their phones.
  • So class, I don't want to freak you out but, I really want everyone to start thinking about what they want to do in the next two months. What do you think your purpose is here on earth...?
  • The fourth cell is also about other background characters freaking out. Even though the President said to stay calm, people were still running around the city acting like they were crazy!
  • Random People reacting to the news
  • The fifth slide is also about three other main characters talking after they heard what was going on from their TV. Bobo doesn't really care about school and is excited to leave it, and Andy and Misery do care about school but try not to show it.
  • Bobo
  • Andy
  • Misery
  • The sixth and last cell is about two weeks post news. The scientists have given the asteroid a name, Ardor, and everyone is full of anxiety and fear. But, school for them has gone back to normal for the most part. The only thing off is that everyone wants to complete their goals before time runs out.
