  • Positive

  • That glass is 1/2 full!
  • Idealist is the negative connotation. This is because while idealist is usually seen as a positive word, it can lead to someone being so happy they are sheltered from all bad things in the world.
  • Depreciator
  • Positive is the neutral connotation. This is because positive is simply an adjective that is describing a person. It is hard to interpret as something other than neutral.
  • Pessimist
  • Optimist is the positive connotation. This is because an optimist is someone who is not only happy but chooses to view life with a positive mindset.
  • Gloomy
  • This is the negative connotation because it implies that an individual is given privileges but is so focused on being negative they don't see these things.  
  •  Pessimist is the neutral connotation this is because pessimist can be changed in different ways depending on the persona and is a basic definition for anyone with a negative outlook on life.
  • Gloomy is the positive connotation because it implies that the person has been impacted by things that are out of their control and that leads to making others feel sad or down.
