Storyboard Text

  • Environment: They live in woodlands/forests in eastern America. Also they live in houses called longhouses and sometimes also live in wigwams. They live around many plants and animals.
  • Food Source: They eat fish, deer, bear, rabbit, and when they have the Three sisters festival, they plant corn squash and beans these crops were planted and eaten together.
  • Art: A tribe in the Eastern Woodlands group is called the Iroquois make art like fine beadwork, called Wampum. They make it from weaving shells together. Another group called the Creek make pots that are decorated with many different things, but are most commonly decorated by using stamps. Daily Life: People play Lacrosse, and Tribe meetings where they discuss problems and how to solve them. Woman were farmers while men did things like search the forest for resources hunt. Women also took care of the children, their homes, and all of heir clothing needs.
