Storyboard Text

  • direct characterization
  • Mary greets Patrick as he walks through the door and asks him if he is too tired to go out to dinner tonight or if he would much rather staying home for dinner
  • speech
  • Patrick walks over to get a drink of whisky and doesn't answer Mary says that she can cook up a nice lamb and veggies for dinner
  • look i have been thinking and this may come to a bit of a shock to you but... i want to leave you.
  • thought
  • "I'll... get the leg of lamb. yes you, you need to eat. "
  • for goodness sakes sit down i don't want anything!!
  • this is an example of direct characterization because Mary directly tells Patrick that if he is too tired to go out tonight that they can just have dinner at their house
  • effects on others
  • this is an example of speech because you can just see how Patrick is acting when he tells Mary that he wants to leave her he talks slowly and unsure if he is ready to tell Mary that he is ready to leave her.
  • actions
  • "i'm just garbing some things for dinner for Patrick he did not want to go out tonight he is terribly tired."
  • this is an example of thought because it shows that Mary does not want to admit to herself that Patrick just told her that. she is trying to act like nothing just happened.
  • looks
  • "Well i had gone out to grab some vegtebles for dinner because he was too terribly tired to go out, and when i came home i saw the   house was trashed and patrick lying on the floor"
  • what exactly happened mam?
  • this shows effects on others because, Patrick told her that he is ready to leave her because he found someone else and that made Mary go a little crazy and when he shouted at her that made her really mad, that effected her to take the leg of lamb and wack him upside the head with it.
  • this is an example of actions because it shows mary that she is trying to act like nothing had happened to patrick and that he is truly tired.
  • this is an example of looks because it shows that Mary is trying to look innocent about what sh e did she is trying to make it look like it was staged.
  • we need to search the premises for the murder weapon, it has to still be here
