  • There is mainly two industries in the north, Most people live on farms and only produced enough food items to sustain their family. The other industry is raising crops lots such as textiles, fur and lubar, that was the shipped all over.
  • Many people who lived in rural areas stared moving to cities looking for a job to help sustain there families. This started to become very common for people to move around the 1850's and continued to increase city population. With all of these people, the cities started to add sanitation systems and police workforces
  • Slavery had mostly ended in the north but African Americans still were not treated equal to whites and experienced a lot of discrimination
  • HAHA
  • Almost everyone in the south was dependent on subsistence farming except for a few developing cities. These farmers grew cash crops such as rice, tobacco, cotton and sugar. but when the cotton gin was created, the cotton market exploded.
  • Slavery was very popular in the south and almost anywhere you went the was african americans doing work for whites. These slaves were treated very poorly and were often beaten if the were seen slaking even the slightest.
  • African americans were trated like they were not human and almost every single african american was a slave. they were worked very hard with little to no rest and if the got caught escaping they would be punished veryharshly
