Man Vs. Society
I Have to hide these books quick!
Montag, Beatty's boss, tried to convince Montage that books can do more harm than good. He believes that books will only cause problems. When Beatty tries to arrest Montag, Montag killed him because of this.
When the main character Montag ran to the river, he heard people talking. After knowing that he's running from the law he couldn't trust who ever they were. They later told Montag that he can trust them, but he has a bad feeling and has a conflict if he should trust them or not.
The conflict that Montag has with society is that he can't have books, which are a big part of society. This is because books are not allowed and people rely mostly on their parlor rooms. Montag feels that they should be allowed to have books.
