The French and Indian War was from 1756-1763 and was in the English Colonies.
The cause was that colonists wanted to expand their land west over the Appalachian Mountains known as the Ohio Territory.
So the British, Spanish, Canadians, and French went to war.
Spain joined France to fight against England.
England received Canada from France and Florida from Spain.
Eventually a treaty was formed that strengthened the American Colonies.
