  • I AM THOMAS JEFFERSON - LEADER OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY
  • I AM ALEXANDER HAMILTON - LEADER OF THE FEDERALIST PARTY
  • and congress powers shall be limited to what is absolutely necessary!
  • As democratic-republicans we believe in strict reading of the constitution
  • Also  we don't allow ordinary people to get involved. Only the wealthy men should hold office
  • As Federalists we favor a strong federal government!
  • John Adams won the position of president with 71 votes!
  • The Results Were: John Adams - president & Thomas Jefferson - Vice President 
  • And Thomas Jefferson came in second with 68 votes!
  • We can't let the people decide they aren't qualified to think for themselves.
  • Since John Adams and Thomas Jefferson were from different parties, they had different views and opinions. Having a President and Vice President from different parties will result in conflict and disagreements.
