Storyboard Text

  • The Crucible
  • Written by: Arthur Miller
  • By Brandi Wright
  • Theme: Jumping to conclusions can lead to terrible events
  • Motif: Lying
  • I saw George Jacobs with the devil!
  • I saw Goody Good with the Devil.
  • I saw Goody Sibber with the Devil!!!
  • This is my story board.
  • Ahh Elizabeth Proctor stabbed me!!!!
  • What has happened!?!
  • This is my motif and theme. I picked jumping to conclusions because if people would have stoped and though everything over, maybe none of this would have happened.
  • I am pregnant.
  • You can go home until you have the kid
  • This is in Act I where Betty, Abigail, and Tituba confess to seeing people with the Devil and others witness it.
  • John is bewitching us!!! Ahh we're cold....BRrrr
  • *GASP* I don't want to get in trouble, I'll go with it.
  • This is the scene where Abigail tricks Danforth into thinking that Elizabeth Procotr has "sent her spirit" and stabbed her through a vodo doll.
  • This is the scene where Elizabeth lies so that she can prolong her conviction for nine months or so to see John.
  • John tries to get Abigail in trouble with the truth, but it backfires when the girls lie and say that he is bewitching them. Mary joins in and lies to evade being called a witch.
  • It's not true!!!! Mary??? C'mon!?
