  • Frank forgot that it was Davids birthday today, and he was suppose to make a cake. He doesn't know how to make a cake, but needs to act fast.
  • 1.  Problem
  • I forgot to make the cake!
  • Frank decides to go to the library to check out a book on how to make a cake. He finally finds the perfect one that will give him the knowledge to create the cake in no time!
  • The perfect book! Now I can make the cake.
  • 2.  Research
  • After reading through the book, he thinks that he will need eggs, milk, sugar, and butter to make the cake. 
  • I know what I need and will go get the ingrediants.
  • 3.  Hypothesis
  • With all the ingredients, Frank now mixes in everything to form the cake batter. He tests to see if it will be good enough to form the cake. 
  • 4.  Test the Hypothesis
  • Now that the cake is in the oven, Frank can look into the oven to see how well it is baking.
  • 5.  Analyze Data

  • It's almost done! Looking good!
  • Frank learned how to make a cake in under and day and it came out great! He followed the steps and it saved him!
