Storyboard Text

  • For today's grade, I want everyone to go look around for examples of pollution. Remember that pollution could be both on the ground and in the water.
  • Oh no, oil! Wait, this could be my example of a non point source pollution. If something were to carry this oil away as runoff, it could reach a body water if it was nearby.
  • Nasty water from pipes can travel to the sea as a form of point source pollution. This is due to it being found at a certain source.
  • Is a runoff bad?
  • No, it just means that its causing the water to traveling from one place to another. That place would be the storm drain or the grass.
  • It look like there's a leak somewhere in the house! Thankfully this is creating a runoff of water that is traveling to the gutters.
  • Hey, what are reading?
  • It's just a book for school. It's about pollution and how we can contribute to stopping it.
  • We can help prevent pollution by recycling. For example, you can through away waste and then it will be made into new material.
