Storyboard Text

  • Night
  • Chapter 1
  • We will give some of our rooms to relatives who have been driven out of their homes.
  • Chapter 2
  • There are eighty of you in the car.  If anyone goes missing, you will all be shot, like dogs.
  • Go to sleep.  Two people to a bunk. Good night.
  • 'Night' is about the Holocaust.  A teenager named Wiesel tells his story about the deaths he faced and the horrors of the Holocaust.
  • Chapter 3
  • One of the Ghettos is built around Eliezer's house.  Since their house is at the edge of the Ghetto, their windows facing the street outside had to be sealed.
  • Chapter 4
  • Let me have your crown, kid. If you don't give me your crown, it will cost you much more!
  • Without that crown I can no longer eat. I need to get my father's advice.
  • Everyone in the ghetto has to be transported to another secret place.  The people from the ghetto were crammed into the cattle cars ready to be sent to a place they weren't told of.
  • Chapter 5
  • Me too...They told me to stay at the camp. They must have written down my number without me noticing. There is still a chance, Today they will do another selection.
  • Eliezer and his father get separated from his mom and sister.  They have to march for a long time and are together in a separate camp.
  • Franek, the foreman, noticed Eliezer's gold crown and asked for it.  Eliezer refused, and so Franek punished Eliezer's father because he couldn't march.  Eliezer finally gave Franek his gold crown and Franek stopped punishing Eliezer's dad, plus he gave Eliezer extra soup.
  • An SS would examine the people at the camps.  Whenever they found someone extremely frail he would write his number down and that person will be good for the crematorium.  You either pass or you stay.  Eliezer passes, His father thinks so too, but he later finds out that he didn't pass, but he later passes the second trial.
