Nobles and clergys live in luxuries homes and palaces and they collected tithe from the peasents . The clergys were also seperated to 2 groups the high clergys and the low clergys. They did not pay tax to the monarchs.
The First Estate
Nobles did not have to do milliery service and they collected tolls from people who used roads and markets.
The Second Estate
Peasents were forced to do milltery service and they could not hunt or fish on nobles estates. They had to pay taxes and made up 90% of the population.
