  • Theseus met with the minotaur in its sleep, the room was very cavernous. Where Theseus jumped upon it and killed it. As the minotaur head lay at his feet it was all the glory worth the journey.
  • The resurrection
  • When he came out the others were glad he had survived and the talk of home was happily spoken of, the reward was glorious.
  • Return with the elixir
  • They gathered on the boat and set sail back to the mainland. Theseus was excited to speak to his father about his newfound accomplishment.
  • When heading back, the king saw the black sails and thought his son had been killed, and sorrow flooded him. And could not hold back the thoughts of his son being dead.
  • After seeing this the king reluctantly leaped to his death, without actually knowing the black sails were false and the crew had forgotten to change them.
