Lara Jean is a very good person, she doesn't really let much get to her. She is a very caring and loving person. She helps different people with what they want before putting herself first.

Gen is a normally rude person like if she doesn't get what she wants right away everyone's life will be miserable. Like when Peter and Lara Jean started fake dating she thought that she could just nuzzle her way through them but when she couldn't she made fun of Lara Jean.
Imagery- "Why would you tell Josh that we're --- I hesitate and then finish with a thing." (107)
The theme of the book is that the fact of true love is a strong unescapable emotion. When Lara Jean finally found out how she actually felt about Peter she was too scared to say anything to him but the emotions that she had were inescapable because the feeling just kept coming back.
Suspence-"Then Peter Kavinsky leaned right in and kissed me, and I was stunned." (74)
When Lara Jean and Peter first got into their fake relationship they said that they would pass letters to each other during class. That is a symbol of the love that they will eventually have for each other.
Lara Jean didn't want people knowing because she felt bad for lying to people. Also, she didn't want to break the contract by telling people the truth.
This part of the book was very suspenseful because you didn't know what was going to happen next. It was like when you were reading you were on the edge of your seat.
