• Anna: Exponent; The number of times a number or expression (called base) is used as a factor of repeated multiplication. Also called power﻿
• Zach:  Variable;﻿  A letter or symbol that stands for a number.
• ﻿
• Bree: Expression; Includes variables, letters, and operations﻿
• ﻿
• ﻿Kade: Standard Form; Whole number solution
• ﻿Ben: Associative property; Sum/product of a set of numbers is the same no matter how the numbers are grouped.
• Hannah: Base; The number or expression used as a factor for repeated multiplication﻿
• Addie: Commutative property; Sum/product of a group of numbers is the same regardless of the order in which the numbers are ranged
• Clair: Square Number; A number times itself﻿
• ﻿Miranda: Identity property; product of 1/0 and any number or variable is a variable or variable itself
• ﻿Hailey: Distributive property; Sum of two addends multiplied by number is sum of the product of each addend and a number
• ﻿Cameron: Zero Property; The product of zero and any number is zero
