  • I have never payed taxes and they are never going to catch me. 
  • I have changed a lot and i pray every night can i be forgiven. 
  • Martin Luther believed that priest should be subject to the law, just like everyone else. 
  • Luther condemned church officials for excessive gambling and drinking, and challenged them to lead moral lives.
  • To be forgiven, people need to pray and change their behavior. 
  • Indulgences was where people gave money to the church for in return with forgiveness. 
  • The printing press allowed ideas to spread more rapidly, and led to printed materials becoming more affordable and accessible to a much larger group of people. 
  • Martin Luther did not want a peaceful solution. The reformation lasted over one hundred years of war in Europe, with Catholics and protestants. The outcome was two major groups, protestants and Christianity.
