  • A step toward democracy in which 6 thousand woman marched 13 miles demanding for the king.
  • Execution of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette

  • The Declaration of the Rights of Men basically gave equality to all three estates. The estates were having issues with taxes nobility and how it was unfair. They also wanted to have equal voting rights.
  • Rise of Napoleon
  • A time of violence in the French Revolution with the sole purpose to purge France of enemies of the Revolution and protect the country from foreign invaders.
  • Fall of Napoleon

  • Louis and Marie Antoinette return to Paris (broke into palace and killed some guards). Louis finally agree and never saw the palace again.
  • A man who dominated France and Europe from 1799 to 1815 and gave his name to the final phase of French Revolution.
  • After a disastrous French invasion of Russia in 1812, Napoleon abdicated the throne two years later and was exiled to the island of Elba abdicated the throne two years later and was exiled to the island of Elba.
