  • What caused the massive extinction of the dinosaurs, was a giant meteor. it crashed on the earth covering it with ash and soot. That then killed the plants by covering the sky with smoke, and making it so there was no sunlight to go in the plants, which men't that the plant eaters died off, and the meat eaters had no food, so then they died off.
