Okay, thank you doctor
Linda, the tests have just gotten back and it looks like you have strep throat.
Strep throat is a very common illness. You probably contracted it from someone in school coughing next to you who had strep throat. With the help of these antibiotics I am going to prescribe you, it should only take about 10 days for the strep throat to be cured.
I wonder what my body will do to fight this infection...
This is Brenna the B cell, an immune cell. She is going to save Linda from Anne the antigen, a bacterial cell causing her to have strep throat.
However, Brenna cannot defeat Anne on her own. She will need the help of Mark the macrophage, who will engulf and destroy Anne. He will then take her proteins and plant them on his surface. This will make Linda more prepared to fight off strep throat next time she contracts it.
