  • A totalitarian form of government is one that the people elect the dictator but once they are elected they are not limited by laws or anything like that
  • I want a totalitarian government!
  • Stalin ruled Russia in 1929-1953. He was dictator of the soviet union. He helped the soviet union go from peasants to having military power, however many people died during his reign since it was a reign of terror.
  • Hitler was chancellor in Germany than eventually became dictator. Some people did not like Hitler and a week before he was dictator somebody burned the Reichstag. This caused him to blame the communists because he did not like them.
  • I am chancellor
  • Italy's leader during World war II was Benito Mussolini. He decided to work with the Nazis and Adolf Hitler. So he also took on his views as well with the totalitarian government.

  • An authoritarian government is a government that the people vote on the ruler then the ruler has absolute power. After the vote the people do not have a say. A totalitarian government is very similar to this but is much more extreme
