  • Magma
  • Lava
  • Igneous Rock
  • Sediment
  • The magma gets ejected out of the volcano and enters the water as lava.
  • Sedimentary Rock
  • Once the lava is solidified from the cold temperatures from the water the lava becomes what is known as ingeous rock.
  • Metamorphic Rock
  • Weathering and erosion breaks the rocks down into sediment.
  • Over time the sediment goes through a process called deposition where it is pushed under ground and compressed until it becomes a sedimentary rock.
  • Heat and pressure turn the rock into something else a different, metamorphic rock.
  • Intense Heat
  • As the metamorphic rock continues to heat up it melts and becomes Magma
