I need one of those, then my family will not go to hell
I wonder How much, but I guess you can't put a price on life.
Indulgences, get your Indulgences
I can't let this keep happening to us, we need to stop this, we need a voice.
hmmm... I have an Idea
My list of 95 complaints about the church is finally finished, I can finally give the people a voice
Martin Luther was born in 1483 on the 10th of November, at the time of the Reformation he was living in Eisleben Germany. However, Martin Luther did not always have the same path as before the Reformation he studied law but then everything changed in a matter of seconds in 1505.
The roman catholic church wont be happy
Luther walking through the streets sees pope leo x selling indulgences and saw people giving up lives for loved ones.
they are the only ones who can read the bible...Unless
Sure, that brought more attention to the Roman Catholic churches wrong doings
but it doesn't change that fact that no one can contest with the pope and priest
Martin Luther saw what was happening to society, he saw people willing to give up everything to have that reassurance that their loved ones would be okay and not sent to hell. Luther did not agree with this as he believed the only true path to salvation was faithfulness to Christ and his teachings. Luther was trying to stop the church from engaging in practices he believed were unchristian.
Now everyone can think and interprint the bible the way they want to, and see what the lord really wanted.
So Martin Luther decided to do something about what he was seeing. in 1517 he nailed his 95 theses were nailed to the church door- the 95 theses was a list of 95 complaints about the roman catholic church.
well, off to send this to the higher authorities
Martin luther needed something else to stop the Catholic church from the unjust ways.
In 1522 Martin Luther got the bible translated into German after the printing press was created and available in Germany
