- Poppy reads a secret code/ message from her brother, it says she has to meet him at the spirit tree.
- a family is taking you away to Sydney town in 4 days.
- MRS HAGTREE
- Her brother tells Poppy that there is a way to escape out of the orphanage. her also tells her that he is going to try and escape.
- Later that day Bartholomew saved Poppy's best friend from getting bitten by a deadly snake, but in the process he gets get bitten by it, and passes away.
- I don't feel like singing tonight
- Got to the dark seller Poppy.
- Mrs Hagtree tells Poppy that a family is taking her away to a different place, before she turns 12.
- She plans how she will get out of the orphanage, before she gets taken away.
- Poppy says that she doesn't want to sing, but little does Mrs Hagtree know Poppy is never coming back from the dark seller.
