Hello my name is Rosa parks i am a civil rights activist and the mother of a freedom movement i was born on February 4 1914 Tuskegee, Alabama, United States. now am going to tell how i became the person i am today.
it all started on the bus in the evening of a cold December in 1955 i was tired so i decided to take the bus after a long day at work i sat in the fifth row of the first row of the color section. a passenger which was white needed to sit down but there was no room for him to sit .the bus driver got up and told me and three other African Americans to move one set back to let this white gentlemen take there set the guys moved but i did not.
the bus driver did not asked he demanded and said are you going to move i looked up and said no and i said that with confidence so the bus driver said i'm going to have to arrest you and i said go and do that. after that i was arrested and was fined 10 dollars
After that day for standing up for all African Americans that´s when i became the mother of a freedom movement and a civil activist.
