  • They are the Thick Filament and the Thin Filament.
  • What are they? 
  • Well, there are hundreds and thousands of them in every muscle in your body!
  • How do such miniscule cells help lift hundreds of pounds?
  • They can move! They contract and detract! They use a protein called Acetylcholine and the muscles react by contracting
  • Do they move and if so, how?
  • They are the Thick Filament and the Thin Filament.
