Set in the small town of New Bern, North Carolina, lived Wilson and Jane Lewis. They had three kids. Anna, who was the oldest, Joseph, and Leslie. Wilson and Jane had been married for 29 years.
Wilson was so busy with work that he forgot his 29th wedding anniversary. It hurt his wife so bad that she went to stay with her son Joseph in New York City for a couple of weeks
Ma'am are you okay?
Almost a year after the forgotten anniversary, Wilson and Jane's eldest daughter Anna had some exciting news.
I'm getting married!
Anna wanted her wedding on the same day as her parents, which was only a couple weeks away. To help his wife, Wilson volunteered to help find entertainment, a caterer, and reception venue.
Wilson had the idea to have the wedding at his father-in-law's old house. Wilson went to see Noah at Creekside Nursing Home. Noah agreed. Wilson saw this as an opportunity to ask Noah for advice about his failing marriage.
Wilson went to the old house to see what needed to be worked on. Weeds were growing up onto the house, boards covered the windows and doors. It needed a lot of work.
