Storyboard Text

  • All right, Mr. Alderson, your pain should be gone now. I'll prescribe some pain medications to be safe.
  • Thanks, Doc. It means a lot.
  • For his injury, I, Dr. Ayanna Chopra, prescribe OxyContin to my patient, Jackson Alderson r. Ayanna Chopra
  • Oxycontin? Isn't that pretty addictive? Oh well. If Dr. Chopra prescribed it, it should be fine
  • I'm getting worried about you, Jack. You've barely moved in five days, and frankly, I'm only really dating you for your money, which is running out the more you skip work.
  • I don't really need you--or anybody, for that matter. My meds give me all the relief and emotional stimulation I need. Goodbye, Anica.
  • Oh, I have the stuff. I totally know what you mean, man. Just a year ago I was addicted to pain meds, but I had to turn to heroin when I ran outta money. But hey, I turned out just fine.
  • Do you have the stuff? I ran outta pills, so now I have to make my own supply.
  • You haven't payed rent in months! I have no choice to evict you. I expect you off my property by tomorrow.
  • First my job, and now this? What am I gonna do? I've pushed away everyone I know!
  • So cold... So hungry... I hate my addiction, but I'll still do anything for a fix... How did this happen to me?
