  • Antietam
  • This was the bloodiest battle in U.S. history. This battle was the turning point in the war. The battle occurred in the city of Gettysburg.
  • Lincoln's Assassination
  • This fort was originally controlled by union soldiers. Confederate troops ataked this fort. This was the immediate cause of the civil  war
  • Emancipation Proclamation
  • This was the bloodiest day in American history. One of the confederate soldiers left their plane for war along with a pack of cigars. Union soldiers found the plans and attacked general Lee
  • Appomattox Court House
  • I surrender!!!
  • President Lincoln was shot and killed by John Booth
  • The Emancipation Proclamation said that all slave in the rebel states were free
  • No more slavery
  • The war was ended here when General Lee surrendered his army.
